Thought to be from the 1930s, this compotier, or fruit dish, has a cheerful green Louis XVI floral motif around the bowl's edge. The base of the stand has a simple design. At the bottom is the manufacturer's stamp "Moulin des Loups & Hammage - Nord," meaning it was made by the Moulin des Loups & Hammage factory in the North of France, which was founded in 1896.
