A Buffet Table for Christofle
Christofle asked me to style a table around one of my favorite sharing moments using their collection mixed with my antiques and linens. Since it would be the first time I was reuniting with some friends after the strict two month confinement in France, I decided on an apéro-dînatoire buffet table.
First of all, apéro is such a beloved time here in France. It's that time before dinner where people meet for drinks and nibbles. However apéros in France are epic and they seriously never end, so you might go home at midnight drunk, hungry or both. After living here for almost 10 years I've learned my lesson when invited over for an apéro. Personally I prefer the hybrid apéro-dînatoire, because it more honest. It's a melange of the two meals and your guests know this isn't a sit down or a slaved over meal. It's the casual convivial atmosphere of an apéro but you won't go home on champagne, wine and chips.
You can read the whole post shared on the Christofle brand site here and see extra images photographed from that lovely sunny Summer afternoon below. Be sure to pin a few ideas for your next apéro-dînatoire.
