Set of 4 Mid-Century Boch Plates

€75.00

This set of four vintage Boch plates from 1966 is a beautiful representation of mid-century Belgian ceramics, produced by the renowned Boch Frères Keramis. Featuring a striking geometric pattern of warm ochre ovals and green accents, these plates capture the essence of the 1960s design aesthetic while maintaining the quality craftsmanship for which Boch was known. The stamp on the back clearly marks them as authentic pieces from Boch's factory in La Louvière, Belgium, a region historically significant for its ceramic production.

Boch, founded in 1841, played a major role in the Belgian ceramics industry, producing a wide range of pottery and porcelain pieces. However, the company faced economic challenges and ceased operations in 1985, making pieces like this even more valuable to collectors and enthusiasts.

These plates add a touch of mid-century modern elegance to any table setting.

You can see light crazing and a small chip on the edge of a plate. (see in images).
