Pierced silver and crystal swan salt cellar with two compartments. The pierced silver wings open and close to reveal the crystal glass compartments. Comes with small decorative handle.
This beautiful object dates to the French Empire, late 19th century, with its swan shape and overly decorative spoon. Swans were the symbol of the Empress Josephine.
