French 19th-century herbier from the first Deyrolle shop at 23 rue de la Monnaie in Paris.

Label from the late 19th century when Emile Deyrolle took over his grandfather’s business in 1866.

This specimen from naturalist Monsieur L. Leuillier is dated the 5th of August, 1883 with beautiful calligraphy detailing the plant as well as the preservation method.

27 cm wide.

45 cm tall.
