Intricately detailed alabaster bust of an unknown young woman by famous Italian sculptor, A. Gianelli. Her long hair is neatly coiffed in a spiraled bun. This sculpture has some slight patina (light blue and dark color) which is common for its age. A lovely classical and feminine addition to a shelf or mantle.
This bust is part of an Egregia Italian Statuary collection from Italy. It is one of the most prestigious museum-quality lines of sculptures in the world. This charming female figure was created by A. Giannelli in Volterra, a city in the heart of Italy's alabaster district.
