Gold (vermeil) and silver-plated spade-shaped serving spoon. The silver handle is adorned with classic ribbons and acanthus leaves, typical of the Louis XVI style. The interior bowl of the gold-plated spoon is etched with a delicate floral design.
The spoon is marked with a signature stamp from Paris Silver Smiths, Gustave Picault, ca 1850s-1870s.
