Silver-plated and vermeil Napoleon III serving tray. This elegant 19th century rectangular tray is detailed with stepped ridges around the rim. It is stamped and etched with garlands and leaves motif. In the center of the tray, the medallion has engraved initials: OBC with ribbon and garland accents. The "background" of the monogram medallion has a very pretty stripes and dots pattern reminiscent of French lace fabric.
The gold vermeil has faded with time but is still visible.
